if I saw this product in a store where I could touch it, I would have been willing to pay more for it. The leather is really soft and durable, it lays flat, and it has the perfect amount of pocketsMoterm is a leather binder, also called a “planner.” And if you know what a Filofax©️ is, then you know what a Moterm planner looks like. It’s an amazingly well made leather agenda-with many upscale features, such as: a long full length pocket on the top for your full sized folded paper. It has 2 secretarial pockets, one on each side; there are various other pockets for postage stamps, pictures, etc. The leather pen loop is made from a matching color leather with an elastic back, and will hold a full sized pen, such as a Lamy Safari. The planner also includes a leather fly leaf-There are additional credit card pockets on the back side of the fly leaf. It comes with approximately 100 sheets of undated, lined, daily task and schedule paper. As can often be the case with less expensive planners, this time there was NO chemical smell, nor any plastic-y coating on the leather or lining. As far as a “stiffener,” the planner was not stiff or hard; it felt more like a thin sheet of cushiony material was inside. The 6 rings used measured 25mm, and were fairly easy to open; they closed tightly and if necessary, can be replaced by unscrewing them. I purchased the medium/Personal size, an easy size to work with-For what I paid - $55+ vs $200+ - for a similar group of feature in a leather planner, well-you can’t go wrong.I didn’t need anything fancy-I just wanted a nice leather planner. What a Moterm is NOT: it’s not a luxury item, nor does it carry a recognizable logo of any company or designer label. It came carefully wrapped in a nice box, and arrived in perfect condition. I believe it will serve me well for many years to come.I really like the pocket layout in this leather ring binder. It's very much like a very expensive brand which is why I purchased it as my very last ring planner that I'll ever buy. The leather is soft and squishy, and a little bit floppy, but still holds it shape well. Also it lays flat when opened and that's a great plus to me. It feels very good in the hands. It does hold it's shape well and the back pocket on it is a great addition. The smell, however, is not really a leather smell that I can tell so far. It smells a bit musty. Perhaps it was the packaging. It's not a strong smell, so I know it will fade away fast. But it's not what I'm used to in leather planners. Maybe I will be able to smell more of the leather aroma as the other smell fades. It could be the dye used(?). The rings are quite strong and difficult to open compared to my filofax planners. There is a lot of room for stuffing this thing, I think. The strap closure on it allows for extra room and I think if someone likes to build themselves a chunky planner, they will be able to. Overall it's a good buy for the money and I can't fault it other than I wish the rings were a wee bit easier to open and lined up a bit more (they aren't terrible, but you can feel they are not perfectly flush like my other ring binders are. They are super easy to remove and I could try and replace them with another set of rings and I may. Also, without the rings, this binder fits a B6 slim or B6 notebook! (B6 is a little tight). And that's a plus for anyone who likes to change things up now and then but does not want to have to buy a new cover every time they do. :)I love this planner!!! The leather is beautiful. It is compact enough to carry with me everywhere but holds enough of the size 3 refill pages for me to insert 6 months of page a day and a full year of month at a glance. I priced leather planners this size from other sites and they were twice the price. I am thrilled with this purchase.i love my purchase! i was researching for two weeks and watched a lot of flips on you tube to make my final decision! The box is very nice and sturdy, I plan to keep it to store my planner accessories (stickers and such), the velvety bag is a very nice touch. When i first opened the box, i stuck my hand in the bag first and felt how soft and pliable the planner was! I had a very big smile and knew i made the right decision. I love the way it smells like a new leather jacket! lol...it is the right size for me and it fits in my lunch bag and i keep it by my desk at work to jot down notes. The pack of notes that is included is a soft beige and good for miscellaneous note taking. This planner is very soft and easily bends, not stiff! a biggie for me! to top it off, it came with a cute teddy bear note hoping it made my day! it sure did! Very pleased with my Moterm Personal Planner and it came a day early! very happy!Update*** Customer service was great. I was contacted and sent replacement rings to fix the issue. Thank you!!I bought this planner for my wife as she wanted a higher quality planner. She loved the planner out of the box. It was definitely packaged nicely and seemed to be worth the money spent. We purchased inserts to add to the planner and upon inserting them, the clasp broke on the planner. I can see this happening on something of cheaper quality, but we did not expect that from this planner as it seemed to be a top tier product. This was her first time opening the rings on her planner.I was looking everywhere for a white REAL leather planner and I finally got one. Very happy with this item. Customer service is top notch. This planner is gorgeous!! For starters, the packaging is 5 stars. A beautiful black box and inside is a beautiful bag to store your planner. Next is the planner. Such a gorgeous color and texture. It’s so soft. Lots of pockets. You can also change the ring size to have it hold more. Now what had me thinking was what size paper it holds and It uses any size personal paper. I use Filofax Personal monthly planner paper. This is NOT the wide. I highly recommend this planner. Worth the money.
